Local support, for local parents, during pregnancy & the first year after birth
The Maternity Champions support new and expectant parents from pregnancy through to baby’s first birthday.
The Maternity Champions programme is a Public Health Initiative centred around a team of highly skilled, NCT (National Childbirth Trust) trained, local volunteers who have a passion for supporting parents on their parenting journey.
The project runs across the borough of Kensington and Chelsea and is based at 6 Community Hubs. The Maternity Champions Manager, who oversees the project across the borough. This is based at the Venture Centre.
Whether you are pregnant, or recently had your baby,
our Maternity Champions would love to welcome you to our activities!
Activities
Maternity Champions run a wide range of fun social activities with all of them dotted across the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. Each activity gives expectant parents and parents of babies under the age of 1, the opportunity to meet other parents, receive support, and see the little ones interact with each other.
